Welcome

I'm Sianya Dawnmist

Sometimes I watch slowly, letting episodes stretch over weeks. Other times I fall headfirst into a story and binge the whole thing in a few days. Both are part of how I experience television.

🧋 Dramas / TV

This space holds notes on the shows I keep company with, particularly Asian dramas, where long-form storytelling allows emotion, atmosphere, and relationships to unfold gradually. I’m interested in how pacing works over time, how music and colour shape feeling, and how characters earn their moments through patience rather than spectacle.

You’ll find reflections written mid-watch as well as after a series has had time to settle. These aren’t reviews or ratings, and they’re not driven by what’s new or trending. They’re observations about comfort, mood, and resonance - why certain stories land when they do, and what stays with you once the credits fade.

Come and go as you like.
These stories are in no hurry.
